Eric Wall, a third year jumper from Sydney, NS, is the Huskies male athlete of the week for the week of Feb. 19-25, 2024.
At this weekend's Atlantic University Sport Track & Field Championship, Wall won a gold medal in the high jump with a leap of 1.94 metres.
"Eric was returning to competition following an injury and performed under pressure to win his first AUS high jump title," says Huskies Track & Field head coach Kevin Heisler.
With the win, Wall qualified to compete at the U SPORTS Track & Field Championship, hosted by the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, March 7-9.
