Athletes of the Week - presented by Freeman's

Brooke Murphy (hockey) and Nikita Kasongo (basketball) are the Freeman's Athletes of the Week.  

Murphy led her team with two points to win game one of the Huskies' championship series vs StFX.  Brooke is a 2nd year forward from Balla Phillip, NB.  Murphy had 17 points for the Huskies in regular season play.  SMU will face StFX in game 3 of the series Tuuesday in Antigonish. 

Nikita Kasongo was named AUS Rookie of the Year at the AUS basketball championships last weekend.  The first year guard from Montreal, PQ finished the regular season with a 18.9 ppg average and 2nd in team scoring.  Kasongo wll represent the conference for the U Sports Rookie of the Year.
