October 1st - Athlete of the Week, presented by Freeman's

Men's and women's soccer pick up the  male and female Freeman's Athletes of the Week! 

First year midfield, Anelise Karakostas, scored the game winning goal yesterday to give the Huskies a 2-1 win over the Mounties.  Karakostas, from Victoria, BC, is the 1st in team scoring with three goals on the season.  The Huskies are back in play on October 12th when they travel to Sydney to take on the Capers. 

Second year forward, Alex Black, scored two goals yesterday and was named the Subway Player of the game in the Huskies 4-0 win over MTA.  Black, from Halifax, NS is currently 3rd in AUS scoring with four goals. The Huskies are back on the road Friday, October 12th when they travel to take on the CBU Capers.
