Athletes of the Week, presented by Freeman's

Adrian Greene (football) and Nick Welsh (Hockey) earn this week's honors of Freeman's Athletes of the Week. 

Greene, a 2nd year DB from Toronto, ON, opened the scoring for the Huskies on Saturday with a 65-yard run for a touchdown on a fumble recovery.  He also added 2 solo tackles on the day in the Huskies 18-9 win over the Gaitors.  The Huskies host the Mount Allison Mounties on Saturday, October 13th in a 2 p.m. start as part of Homecoming weekend. 

First year defensemen, Nick Welsh, holds a three-way tie for first place in the AUS in the scoring race with 6 points.  Welsh, added an assist on Friday in the Huskies 4-2 win over the Tigers.   The Huskies host the StFX X-Men on Friday, October 12th and the Dalhousie Tigers on the 13th during Homecoming weekend.
