Freeman's Athletes of the Week - Siobhan Birch and Alex Peters

Siobhan Birch (hockey) and Alex Peters (hockey) are the Freeman's Athletes of the Week, for the week ending October 14th. 

Siobhan, a 3rd year forward from Mississauga, ON, had 2 goals in the season opener vs Dalhousie, and had another strong game for the Huskies in their 2-1 win over Mount Allison.  Saint Mary's opens at home (Halifax Civic) Thursday night when they host StFX at 7 p.m.

Second year defenseman, Alex Peters, had to strong games on the blue line for the Huskies.  Peters was a "plus 1" in the Huskies 3-2 win over StFX on Friday and recorded a "plus 5" and an assist in Saturday's  8-3 win over Dalhousie. 

Up next, the 5-0 Huskies host UPEI on Friday and UNB on Saturday at the forum.  Both games are 7 p.m.
