Freeman's Athletes of the Week

Soccer players, Paige Vincent and Alex Black grab this week's Athlete honors.  

Vincent, a 5th year Midfield from Dartmouth, NS, played 180 minutes of soccer in the team's two wins this weekend.  She added a goal and an assist and was awarded the Subway Player of the Game.  With the weekend wins, the Huskies secured a playoff position in the upcoming AUS Championships being hosted by CBU. 

Alex Black, netted 6 goals in the Huskies 11-2 win over the visiting Mounties.  Black takes over first place in AUS scoring with 12 points and 10 goals on the season.  The Huskies travel to PEI on the 26th to finish off the season and are still in the hunt of a playoff berth.
