Athletes of the Week, presented by Freeman's

Bethany Smith (volleyball) and Andrew Peverill (cross country) are the Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 11th. 

Smith, a 2nd year Middle from Moncton, NB, had 14 kills and 26 attacks in the Huskies 3-1 over visiting UNB on Friday night.  On Saturday in their 3-0 road win over UdeM, she added 6 kills and 12 attacks.  She is currently 2nd in team kills, and 9th in the conference.  The Huskies travel to Wolfville this weekend to compete in the AUS volleyball tournament hosted by Acadia. 

Andrew Peverill finished 19th out of 160 runners in the U SPORTS cross country championships hosted by University of Guelph.  He finished the men's 10K in 31:58.6, his 2nd best time and the finish is the 2nd best finish of all Saint Mary's runners in a cross-country national championship.
