Donovan and Kasongo named Freeman's Athletes of the Week

Lindsay Donovan (volleyball) and Nikita Kasongo (basketball) each had great weekend games and have been named the Athletes of the Week, presented by Freeman's. 

Donovan, a fourth year Middle from London, ON, lead her team to a 3-1 finish at the AUS volleyball tournament hosted by Acadia University.  She was named Subway Player of the game twice for her performance.  The Huskies sit in third place in the conference and will resume play in January of 2019.  

Nikita Kasongo, a second-year guard from Montreal, PQ had combined 30 points and 21 rebounds in the Huskies two road wins over UPEI.  He also received two Subway Player of the game titles.  The Huskies finish off the regular season this Friday when they play the Dalhousie Tigers at the Scotiabank Centre.
