Demale and Peters named Freeman's Athletes of the Week

Shae Demale and Alex Peters receive Athlete of the Week honors for the week ending December 2nd. 

Demale, a first year Science student from Red Deer, Alberta, had the load goal in the Huskies 1-0 win over the visiting Mounties Saturday night.  The Huskies end the first half of the season with a  9-6-1 record.  They face the Dalhousie Tigers on January 2nd to start the 2nd half. 

Second year defensemen, Alex Peters (Blyth, ON) earned three points for the Huskies in their two weekend games vs UNB and UPEI.  Peters is currently 2nd in team defensemen scoring with 11 points ont he season.  The Huskies open up play on January 4th and 5th when they once again face the Reds and the Panthers on the road.
