Men's and women's hockey earn Athletes of the Week
Shae Demale and Anthony Repaci are this week's Freeman's Athletes of the Week!
Shae, was named Subway Player of the game in the Huskies 3-0 shutout over the visiting UPEI Panthers. She had two goals on the night and is currently leading the team scoring with 15 points. In upcoming action, the Huskies host St. Thomas Saturday' at 4:30 p.m. (civic) and UNB on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. (forum).
Anthony Repaci, a 4th year forward from Toronto, ON, had a 6-point week for the 2nd place Huskies. In their 4-2 home win over UdeM on Wednesday, he had a pp goal and in Friday's 5-2 road win over Acadia, he had 2 goals and 3 assists.
After missing 11 games due to injury in the first half, he's back hitting his scoring stride, with 10 points in four games. Anthony was also named AUS Athlete of the Week.
Next up, the Huskies host the StFX on Wednesday night and the Dalhousie Tigers on Friday. Both games are 7 p.m. start times at the Halifax forum.
