Peverill, Pancura named Huskies Athletes of the Week: Sept. 26-Oct. 2.
Men's cross country athlete Andrew Peverill and women's soccer player Anna Pancura have been named Huskies Athletes of the Week, for the week of Sept. 26-Oct. 2.
Andrew Peverill, a fifth year from Lower Sackville, N.S., is the Huskies male athlete of the week for the week of Sept. 26-Oct. 2.
Peverill raced to his first win of the season at the Université de Moncton Invitational on Saturday. His finishing time of 26:17.20 was more than 33 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.

Anna Pancura, a second year midfielder from Halifax, N.S., is the Huskies female athlete of the week for the week of Sept. 26-Oct. 2.
Pancura was instrumental to the Huskies four-point weekend, as she played 45 minutes in the second half of the Huskies 2-2 draw vs. the UNB REDS on Saturday, and the full 90 minutes in the Huskies 3-1 win over the Moncton Aigles Bleus on Sunday. During Sunday's match, Pancura assisted on the first goal of the game by teammate Allie Martin, and scored her first career AUS goal off of a free kick. She was named Subway Player of the Game for her efforts.
