Nikita Kasongo to join Huskies Hoops in 2017-2018
After competing at Nationals in Halifax this past weekend, the Saint Mary's men's basketball team are pleased to announce their first recruit for the 2017-2018 season.
Nikita Kasongo from Champlain College in Montreal will be enrolling in the Fall of 2017.
The 6'4 guard from Montreal is a terrific athlete and is expected to step in and contribute right away. "We graduate some of our athletic wing players this year, so I'm thrilled to be adding someone like Nikita. He can guard multiple positions on the floor and can score in a variety of ways.
He's physically ready to compete at the University level and I expect him to be an impact player right away. He seems like a great young man who will mesh well with the current players we have on the roster," commented Coach Taussig.
