Huskies add Jada Yeo to 2017/18 lineup

The Saint Mary's University Women's Basketball team is pleased to announce the commitment of Jada Yeo of Charlottetown, PE to enroll at Saint Mary's in the fall.

Yeo, will suit up for the women's basketball Huskies in September. Yeo, a former star at Colonel Gray High School, helped lead her team to two basketball provincial championships in 2014 and 2015. Yeo a veteran of the Basketball PEI provincial programs was an all-star at the Canadian National Basketball Championships in 2014.

"We are very excited to get a player of Jada's calibre to join our program in the fall. I have been a fan of the way Jada played, having watched and coached against her while she was a member of the PEI provincial program over the years. Jada is very competitive by nature, she possesses a strong skill set and ability to shoot the ball which will help her make the transition to the AUS very easily," stated Head Coach Scott Munro.

Yeo an accomplished two sport athlete, will compete for Prince Edward Island's Canada Games softball team this summer in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
