The Huskies first scoring chance came at the 9:00 mark of the frame. Beatrice Harrietha (Guelph, ON) made a great feed from her own end up ice for Caitlyn Manning (Cambridge ON) she streaked in with a partial break on Cook but fired her shot high off the glass.

16:55 into the first the Tommies had another great chance. Apperson made a centring feed from the left corner to Alexandra Swift (Nepean, ON) in the slot and Clark made another big save.

The Huskies got off to a quick start in the second.  Nicole Schofield (Winnipeg, MB) made a backdoor feed to Breanna Lanceleve (Middle Sackville, NS) to the right of the net and Cook came across making a big save just 0:55 in.

Paige Jackson (Stoney Creek, ON) got the puck in the low right slot and fired a shot on goal, Clark somehow managed to reach across with her glove and snag the puck just before it crossed the line.
