(Moncton, NB) . A power play goal late in the third period by Brooke Murphy, at 16:36, lifted the Saint Mary's University Huskies (6-1-0=12pts, 2nd position) to a 1-0 win over Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (2-5-0=4pts, 7th position), Friday in Atlantic University Sport women's hockey game at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena.

Moncton will host tonight (Saturday) the Dalhousie University Tigers 2-4-0=4pts, 6th position), at 7p.m.  Audrey Berthiaume was between the pipes for Moncton and Rebecca Clarke, for the visitors. She got the shutout.

The game was very defensive for most of the time. Saint Mary's led 25-20 on shots on goal. "We needed to look after our own zone and the players did that well tonight," said Moncton coach Marc-André Côté. "We desserved a better result. This was our best 60 minutes of hockey this season. We will be ready for the Tigers, Saturday."
