Volleyball Aigles Bleues fall 3-1 to the Huskies

MONCTON – Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (3-11=6pts, 5th position) won the first set, then lost the next three to fall 3-1 to the Saint Mary's University Huskies (10-4=20pts, 2nd position) in an Atlantic University Sport women's volleyball game, Saturday at the CEPS.

The Acadia University Axewomen (8-4=16pts, 3rd position) visit the Aigles, Sunday at 2p.m.

The Blue and Gold lost 22-25, 25-17, 25-21 and 25-15. Christelle Bertin had 10 kills and 7 digs, Jessie Robichaud, 12 digs and Pascale Doiron, 8 kills and 33 attacks for Moncton. Subway player of the game, Anna Watt had 11 kills, 31 attacks and 10 digs for Saint Mary's. Lindsay Donovan also registered 11 kills. Maddie Clarke had 14 digs.

The public is invited to the Sunday game to support the Blue and Gold.
