Morales and Johnson named Athletes of the Week

Fifth year midfielder, Fiorella Morales, continues her strong play on the field for the Huskies, despite suffering a loss to UNB on Saturday.  Morales, has 8 shots on the season.  The Huskies continue their play Thursday, October 3rd when they take on the Dalhousie Tigers at the Wanderers Grounds for the 2nd Annual Halifax Derby.  Game times are 5 & 7:15 p.m. 

Johnson, a fourth year forward from Moncton, NB, scored the Huskies very first goal in the Dauphinee Centre on Friday night vs UNB.  In Saturday's game vs UdeM, he scored the OT winner to give SMU a 3-2 win for their first of the season.  The Huskies host the Dalhousie Tigers, Saturday night at 7 p.m. during Homecoming Weekend.
