Huskies men's 4x200m relay wins gold to highlight solid day one of AUS Championships in Moncton

Day one of the AUS Track & Field Championships got underway on Friday in Moncton, NB, as the Huskies stormed out of the gates with multiple personal bests, medals, and a new school record. The Huskies men’s 4x200m relay team (Jaiden Williams, Oliver Gavel, Chad Smith and Innis MacMullin) won gold, beating out the reigning champion Dalhousie Tigers by a margin of only 0.06 seconds with a time of 1:33.56. This win punches their ticket to the U SPORTS National Championships in Winnipeg in two weeks’ time.
