Women's basketball add Aiyanna Empringham to the 2018/19 lineup

The Saint Mary's University Women's Basketball Team is pleased to announce the commitment of Aiyanna Empringham to join the Huskies lineup in the fall of 2018.

Empringham has been a key member of the Sackville High Girls' basketball team from 2015-18, where she has been both a former team MVP and a Metro all-star.  Empringham has represented Basketball Nova Scotia three times at the Canadian National Championships. Empringham was most recently a member of the Nova Scotia Canada Games women's basketball team this past summer.

"We are excited to have Aiyanna join our program this fall. Aiyanna is a skilled guard who has solid shooting range and an ability to score the ball. She will bring a strong work ethic and shooting ability to the Huskies lineup," stated head Coach Scott Munro.  She will study psychology at Saint Mary's.
