Lucina Beaumont joins the Huskies in 19/20

The Saint Mary's University Women's Basketball team is pleased to announce the commitment of Lucina Beaumont of Fredericton, N.B. to join the Huskies for the 2019-20 season. Beaumont a 6'0 forward and current member of the # 1 ranked and defending NBIAA champion Fredericton High School Black Kats, will bring a versatile game and some offensive firepower to the Huskies. 

We are very excited to have Lucina join our team next fall. She has a very strong skill set and the ability to both score inside and step out on the perimeter as well. I have been a big fan of the way she plays since first seeing her compete with Team New Brunswick a few summers ago," stated Head Coach Scott Munro.

Beaumont is a former NBIAA scholastic all-star as well as being a veteran of Basketball New Brunswick's provincial team program.

Beaumont has participated in four Canadian National age group Championships, including the 2017 Canada Summer Games as a member of Team New Brunswick. Beaumont will study Commerce at Saint Mary's.
