Women's Hockey welcome four recruits to 2020/21 lineup

Ashley Imlach

Goalie - 5'10"

Newtonville, ON

Durham West Jr. Lightning - PWHL

We expect Ashley to come in and compete for her spot between the pipes right away. She has good size and plays a sound technical and positional game. We expect big things from Ashley and look forward to seeing her in nets at the Dauphinee Centre.

Allie Barter

Hammonds Plains, NS

Defense – 5'9"

Station Six Fire - NSFMHL

Allie comes from a family with a rich SMU history and will no doubt make an impact on the blue line for us. Allie thinks the game well and has a great shot from the point. She doesn't mind the physical side of the game either which should help her transition to our level.

Erin Denny

Forward – 5'8"

Eskasoni, NS

Cape Breton MacIntyre Chevy Panthers - NSFMHL

Erin comes to us as the reigning NSFMHL M.V.P. and will bring great energy to our team. She has proven she can produce offensively and her love for the game is infectious. Her tenacity on the forward and overall compete level should help her jump to the USport level.

Ashley Penney

Forward – 5'7"

Laurencetown, NS

Kimball Union - US Prep, Boston Jr. Eagles - NEGHL

Ashley comes to us as a very high-end student that we expect will transition well to our level on and off the ice, thanks to her gritty style of play and ability to play a very sound game off the puck. We expect Ashley will be a key player for us on the penalty kill.
