Coxhead, Bell named Huskies Athletes of the Week: March 7-13

Men's hockey player Andrew Coxhead and women's volleyball player Olivia Bell have been named Huskies Athletes of the Week for the week of March 7-13, sponsored by Outcast Upcycled Nutrition.

Huskies hockey forward Andrew Coxhead (Bedford, NS) is the Huskies male athlete of the week for the week of March 7-13.

Coxhead recorded a total of five points over the weekend, as the Huskies beat the UPEI Panthers in two quarterfinal games to advance to the AUS semifinal.

In Friday's 6-5 double overtime win over UPEI, Coxhead scored three goals and added an assist. In Saturday's game two, he recorded an assist on the game-winning goal.

Huskies volleyball middle Olivia Bell (LaHave, NS) is the Huskies female athlete of the week for the week of March 7-13.

In Saturday night's five set semifinal win over the UNB REDS, Bell led the Huskies with 19 kills, and also chipped in 22 digs and two service aces.

Bell was named an AUS First Team All-Star on Friday, the second straight season she has been honoured as a First Team selection.
