Peverill, Isadore win silver medals on day one of AUS Track & Field Championships

Day one ended at the AUS Track & Field Championships with the Saint Mary's Huskies sitting middle of the pack overall in the team standings. 

On the men's side, Andrew Peverill (1000m) and Dante Isadore (Long Jump) each won silver medals in their respective events, with the 4x200m (Nikola Kriznar, Andy MacMullin, Jaden Storry-Trefry, Innis MacMullin) and 4x800m (Colton Caballero, Joe Stewart, Rory McGarvey, Andrew Peverill) relay teams each claiming bronze medals. On the women's side, Emily Batt sprinted to a bronze medal in the 60m hurdles. 

The women's 4x200m relay team (Lily Wylie, Cate Majury, Megan King, Kelly MacInnis) finished in 5th place while setting a new school record in the event. Also scoring points for the women's team were Emily Batt in the shotput (6th place) and the 4x800m relay team (4th place, Rachel Walton, Gracie Avery, Sophie Leblanc, Bhreagh Burke). Also scoring points on the men's side was Innis MacMullin in the 300m (4th place, narrowly missing out on bronze by .15 of a second). 

Day 2 starts in the morning bright and early with the 60m heats.
