Andrew MacRae joined the Huskies as an Assistant Coach for the 2023-24 season. 

After a solid Atlantic University Sport career as a goalkeeper with the Acadia Axemen, MacRae played professionally for several years. He signed his first professional coach with Ottawa Fury in 2015. While playing for Ottawa MacRae ran the goalkeeping program for the Ottawa Fury Academy and was mentored by Bruce Grobbelaar, the first team goalkeeping coach.

After two years with Ottawa he signed with Larne FC in the Northern Ireland Championship in the winter of 2018 until the end of the season.

MacRae has the Canadian Soccer Association B License, Part One, and has been a Goalkeeping Coach for the Soccer NS provincial team programme for several years.
