Saint Mary's Huskies kicker Brian Hope is the AUS football special teams player of the week for the week ending Oct. 29, 2017.

 

A second-year arts student from Port Coquitlam, B.C., Hope tied the AUS all-time record for field goals made in a single game, with six made on six attempts, in Saint Mary's 26-25 loss to Mount Allison Saturday.

 

He also made good on his lone point-after attempt for 19 total points in the game.

 

Hope joins current records holders Neil Ellison and Mark Dalla Riva—both former Saint Mary's standouts. Ellison set the record with six field goals made in a single game in 1980. Dalla Riva tied his record in 1996.
