Saint Mary's quarterback Duncan Patterson is the AUS offensive player of the week for the week ending October 2, 2022.
An MBA student in his fourth year of eligibility, Patterson led the Huskies to a 25-23 win over the Acadia Axemen on Saturday. He completed 15 of 23 pass attempts for two touchdowns and a season-high 217 yards and also ran the ball five times for 35 yards.
After four games played, Patterson leads the AUS in touchdown passes (6), completion percentages (62.6%) and quarterback efficiency (138.9). The Huskies play next on Friday, October 15 when they welcome the Mount Allison Mounties to their home turf.

Bishop's University's Gabriel Royer is the AUS defensive player of the week for the week ending October 2, 2022.
Royer, a second-year Sports Studies student from Lawrenceville, Quebec, led Bishop's on the defensive side of the ball in their 19-6 win over the Mount Allison Mounties on Homecoming Saturday in Lennoxville.
The Gaiters held the Mounties to just 145 yards of total offense. Royer recorded 10.5 tackles including 2 sacks. He also forced a fumble and had a massive interception with two minutes remaining and the game still in the balance. The victory moves Bishop's to 2-2 on the year. Next up, they travel to face STFX on Saturday, October 8.

Bishop's University's Noah Laursen is the AUS Special Teams player of the week for the week ending October 2, 2022.
Laursen, a business student from Calgary, Alberta, was perfect on the day as Bishop's topped Mount Allison 19-6 on Homecoming Saturday in Lennoxville. He connected on his two field goal attempts from 27 and 32 yards and converted the extra point on the lone major scored in the game.
He also averaged 35.4 yards on 13 punts, including a long of 54 and four that ended up inside the 20. The victory moves Bishop's to 2-2 on the year. This weekend they travel to face STFX on Saturday, October 8.
