(Halifax, NS) At Huskies Stadium Saturday afternoon, the visiting X-Men outshot the Huskies 19-7 and came out with a 2-0 win in AUS soccer action.
StFX led 1-0 at the half on a goal by Randy Ribeiro at the 33 min mark. Ben Henniger scored the 2nd for the X-Men at 84:50 mark to seal the 2-0 win. StFX keeper Thomas Pieroway turned away all 3 SMU SOG for the shutout, and Huskies keeper Christian Oxner stopped 10 of the 12 SOG from the X-Men.
Action continues tomorrow for the Huskies when they host the UPEI Panthers at 3:15 p.m.
