Several Huskies post personal bests in Moncton Last Chance Meet

The Saint Mary's Huskies Track & Field team competed in their final meet of 2023, with several athletes posting personal bests a the UdeM Last Chance Meet in Moncton, NB.

Stand out sprinters for the Huskies include Jaiden Williams, who won the 60m with a time of 7.07 and posted a 300m personal best time of 37.16. Teammate Chad Smith finished second in the 60m with a personal best of 7.11, while Noah Martin posted a personal best of 40.14 in the 300m, and Braeden Marshall ran the 60m hurdles in 10.39.

In jumps, Eric Wall won the high jump at 1.90m, while Dante Isadore won the long jump with a 6.49m leap. Tristan Sutherland posted personal bests of 1.60m in the high jump and 3.10m in the pole vault. On the women's side, first year Raeden Black recorded a high jump of 1.35m.

In throws, Katie Pegg won the shot put with a throw of 10.52m, while teammates Amelia Jardine (9.60m) and Raeden Black (7.03m) also competed. Huskies men's shot-putters Fergus Porter (11.28m) and Jonathon Vanwart (11.07m) both put up personal bests.
