2023-24 Huskies Esports tryout info

Saint Mary’s University Athletics and Recreation Department is looking to build the Huskies Esports Teams for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. We aiming to field two teams in each of the following titles - League of Legends, Rocket League, and Valorant.

To be eligible for these teams, you must be a Saint Mary’s University student (part-time or full-time) taking a full course load in good academic standing or on co-op.

There will be two tryouts for each of these titles, one with a rank cutoff in August, and a second open tryout in September. If you do not meet the rank requirement for your game when signing up to try out, your signup will automatically be deferred to the September tryout.

The rank minimums for the August tryouts are as follows:

• Valorant: Diamond 3
• League of Legends: Diamond 4
• Rocket League: Champion 2

You must be at this rank or higher when signing up to tryout in order to participate in the August tryout.

The tryout dates are as follows:

Tryout 1:

• August 28 - League of Legends
• August 29 - Rocket League
• August 30 - Valorant

Tryout 2:

• September 13 - Rocket League
• September 14 - Valorant
• September 15 - League of Legends
