Huskies announce hiring of Marco Scattolon as full-time Sport Coordinator

As the Sport Coordinator of Athletics & Recreation, Marco will provide support to both varsity and club sport teams at Saint Mary's University. He will be responsible for the planning and execution of varsity sport home games, including overseeing all game day staff and coordinating with visiting teams and officials. He will also be responsible for overseeing club sports, and assist with scheduling, ticket management and marketing, communications, and special events.

Marco has a Bachelor of Sports Management from Brock University, and comes to the Huskies from the Halifax Thunderbirds, where he worked as Manager of Game Presentation from 2021-2025. Marco previously interned with the Halifax Mooseheads and with the CHL during the 2019 Memorial Cup in Halifax, which introduced him to the world of athletics in Atlantic Canada.

Originally from Perth, Ontario, Marco has family in the Antigonish, N.S. region, and grew up spending his summers along the Northumberland Strait.

In his spare time, Marco is part of the leadership group of the Bedford Run Club, and plays recreational hockey.
