Tiger Class Track & Field recap

On Sunday, February 6 - The track and field team competed in the Tiger Track Classic at the Canada Games Centre. The Huskies performed well and came out of the meet with multiple new personal bests.

Matthew Musoke continued his streak of dominant performances this year with yet another personal best in the 60 metre hurdles, crossing the line in 8.50 seconds which ranks him 9th in the CIS in the event.

Meghan Clark also continued her momentum from last weekends personal bests at McGill with yet another personal best in the 1500m. Clark finished in a time of 4:55.49.

Corwin Trottier raced to a personal best in the 600m, improving his time to 1:27.94, while Mark Kidston sprinted to another personal best in the 300m, with a time of 36.75.

Kali Gee, Chisha Mposha, and Sahra MacNeill all sprinted to personal bests in the 60m. Gee smashed her personal best in a time of 8.34, while Mposha crossed the line in 8.98, and MacNeill in 9.39.

The Huskies now look forward to their home meet, the SMU Open, on Saturday the 13th at the Canada Games Centre, which is the last meet before AUS Championships. Congratulations to all the Huskies that competed and best of luck in the final meet before AUS Championships!
