Phil enters his fourth season as the goaltending coach for the SMU women’s program. Phil also contributes to video breakdown and scouting. His biggest strength lies in allowing goaltenders to be themselves, excelling with their own game, and helping them make tweaks along the way to better their own personal style. Phil has been coaching for over a decade, coaching goaltenders of all ages and skill levels while completing his university education.

A former goaltender for the Huskies, Phil was a member of the men’s program from 2014-2016, capping off his playing career with a bronze medal at the U-Sports Championships.
