(Halifax, NS) In AUS women's soccer action Friday night at Huskies Stadium, the Saint Mary's Huskies and the Dalhousie Tigers were locked in a defensive showdown with the potential for that to change at any minute.
The teams went scoreless in the first half.
In the second half, the deadlock was broken in the 58th minute by Morgan MacIntosh (Halifax, NS) to make it 1-0 for the Tigers. Dalhousie kept up the defence for the remainder of the game to seal the victory, with Katie Morgan (Calgary, AB) getting the shutout.
The Tigers' next game is at home against the Memorial Seahawks tomorrow at 1:00 pm. and the Huskies play next at home against Memorial on Sunday at 1 p.m.
