Axewomen defeat Huskies 6-0 in Wolfville

WOLFVILLE, NS - Acadia midfielder Sydney Kennedy scored four goals in Acadia's 6-0 win over the Saint Mary's Huskies on Friday night in Wolfville, NS.

After an own goal by Saint Mary's on a Kennedy cross, she scored once more before halftime to give Acadia a 2-0 led at the break.

She then added two more in the 46th and 66th minutes before Rosie Nichols scored for Acadia. Kennedy finished the match with an 88th minute goal.

Milena Ramirez made six saves in the clean sheet victory, while Kaitlyn Alley made 10 saves in the Huskies loss.

Acadia will now travel to Halifax on Sunday to face the Dalhousie Tigers, while Saint Mary's hosts UPEI the same day, with the men's game kicking off at 4:15 p.m. GET TICKETS
